Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 2026

PutOn is for sharing outfits, tagging the pieces in them, and putting other people on to what you wear. These guidelines keep it that way. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour.

1. Keep it about the clothes

Post photos of fits and pieces, tag the brands, and share where to get them. Fashion is the whole point; if a post isn't about what someone is wearing, it probably doesn't belong here.

2. What is not allowed

We remove the following on sight, and the account that posted it is suspended or banned — on the first offence where the content is serious:

3. Reporting

Every post and profile has a Report option in its … menu. Pick a reason, add details if you like, and submit. Reports are anonymous: the person reported never learns who reported them.

We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break these guidelines. A post reported by several people is hidden from the app automatically while we look at it.

For anything urgent, email support@putonapp.com.

4. Blocking

You decide who you see. Block anyone from their profile or from one of their posts. Once blocked, they can't see your posts or profile, you won't see theirs, and any follow between you is ended. Manage your blocks under Settings → Blocked accounts.

5. Brands

Brand accounts must represent a real brand they are authorised to speak for, and must tag their own products honestly. Misleading product claims or fake engagement will end a brand's access.

6. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may remove content, hide it pending review, restrict an account, or ban it permanently. Serious violations, and any content involving minors, are banned immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

These guidelines form part of our Terms of Service, which you accept when you create an account.
